Remington 673????

Anybody own or used to own a Remington 673? If so, what do you think? Pros/cons; likes/dislikes??

I got one ordered in 6.5mm Rem Mag. I handled one a couple years back in 350 Rem Mag & I guess the bug bit me because here I am with one on the way.... never fired one though. Just looking for opinions.

I see they come with open sights, do you plan on using them? I've read the trigger sucks, but IMO all remington triggers suck. The nice thing is they are adjustable. What's the benefit of the vented barrel?
Nice looking Rifle with the laminate stock. Have you shouldered one yet?

I killed my first deer with a model 600 which was the mold the 673 was made after. If I ever get the chance to get that gun or another like it I will have it. That little rifle handled so well in .308. Smoked a doe at 175 yrds and rolled her in her tracks!!! I've only ever held the 673 but if its anything like the 600 it should be a great rifle.

I really liked the short sweet handling old version I had in .350mag. I'm sure the new 1s are just as good.
