I was doing a little reading on this about two weeks ago and noticed that Corbon is loading this round and it will push a 400 grain bullet about as fast as Corbon 45-70 using the 405 grain bullet. That' s out of an 8" or so barrel. Pretty impressive to me!

There are two model 500' s. The regular 500 with a 8 3/8" barrel and the 500 hunter modes with a 10 1/5" barrel. Even out of a 10 1/5" barrel it pushing a lot of lead a very respectable velocities.

Handguns are getting ridiculous. I have a .454 cassul, and I thought that was bad. Some of these loads would put a hurtin on your shoulder, much less trying to hold them down with your wrist.
