winchester 70 stealth

Was thinking about getting a model 70 coyote for varmit shooting and was informed by my brother that would be a mistake. He is a highway partroman and the swat team members he knows swear by the 70n stealth. Anybody have any experience with either of these two? His buddies have told him that the stealth is the best , most accurate, long range rifle you can buy right now. There is an aftermarket action bolt kit they reccommend putting on it and say the trigger is fine out of the box. Any opionions would be appreciated.

They seem to have a stellar reputation but are hard to get although I see them in Gunshows from time to time.

I' ve heard a lot about the Stealth too. My question, if you had to choose between the Rem 700 VLS and the Win 70 Stealth which would you go with and why. Both are in the same ball park in cost and i' ve heard good things about both.

I' ll take the Winchester over the Remington, personal preference. I don' t think one is made better or that one is more accurate, i just prefer Winchester.

I only have Winchesters, but I think that the Remington is more popular rifle. I have always had great luck with my Winchesters.
