Opinions on Benelli

RE: Opinions on Benelli
I bought a camo Benelli Nova Pump a few months ago and really like it. I got my limit of fifteen doves (using 2 3/4" light loads) the first morning I used it with less than a box of shells, and have used it for goose hunting (using 3 1/2" shells). So, it covered the spectum from light loads to heavy loads without a problem. The only complaint I have is that the forearm rattles a bit which is not a major issue for me. Overall I would give it a thumbs up.

i' ve had a super black eagle since i was 18 (24now) and their is not one thing i don;t like about the shotgun, it is by far the only one i shoot, i do have one thing that i must complain about. that bolt when shut really hurts your finger on a cold morning

RE: Opinions on Benelli
I' ve owned 2 Benellis. The one I had for 3 1/2 years of nearly flawless operation, as long as I kept it clean. The only reason I traded it was to get a camo finish on the 2nd. It' s an M1/Super 90, 3 in. chamber. I thought of the Black Eagle 3 1/2 in., but I don' t need it for the bigger ammunition. I guess if I shot mainly for geese I might want the 3 1/2.
Nearly everytime I shoot sporting clays in our league, one of my friends wants to shoot it, too. It' s just a fine, well-built all around firearm. imo.

RE: Opinions on Benelli
I have a SBE and I love it. Never had the slightest problem with it. I have heard that the SBE' s don' t like the lighter target loads but I never use those so that does not concern me. I used to have a M1 Super90 Tactical which also never gave me a problem. I would recomend Benelli to anyone looking for a great auto shotgun who is willing to pay the extra $ for them. As far as the Nova goes I cannot comment on that as I have never shot one, but my uncle loves his.
