RE: Browning BPS Pre Dura-Touch coating PROBLEMS

I have a few shotguns with camo finishes. My BPS is chipping off in a few places, but thats because I use my guns hard. My Benelli is coming off as well, thats from ALOT of use and abuse. I guess I don't let it bother me. I buy my guns to use them.

I have a Beretta Xtrema and never had a problemand like Rammer I buy my stuff to hunt with not sit in a closet.
Now, I know what happens to metal in salt air day after day, year after year.......But the hunting is good huh?
Keep a good film of oil on it as much as possible, that's all you can do at this point; unless you want to pay to have it stripped and re-dipped! (?)

Xtremas have a pretty good finish that handles moisture. I am pretty sure that Benellis just have the film dip. If you positively have to have a bullet proof camofinish then you need to invest a few hundred on a cerrakote, xp3 or maybe even a lauer epoxy finish.
