well i have a few mossberg rifles and the 810 b is a really good gun the moss berg 4x4 on the other hand is the biggest pile of $%$# that i have ever had. Brand new out of the box it misfired, jammed, then it took me and my buddy to open the bolt. When it finlly came open the extractor and bolt release bolth broke!!!! This isn't the worst part, when i called to get it fixed i was told that i would have to pay for the bolt to be repaired. What was i going to do drive back to town with a loaded misfire in the chamber of the gun. well it has been 3 mounths that they have had my gun and when i call them to see what is going on with it i get a difffrent answer each time and they still cant tell me what was wrong with the gun. I have lost all faith in mossberg and i strongly coution any thinking of getting a 4x4 .338 win mag

I have a .270 100 ATR with a buckmaster 3x9x30 on it. I took a spike at 190 yards, and i took a 6 point at 225 yards. Got the spike through the heart, and double lung the 6 point.

What are you guys seeing ATR's going for? I can get one for $315 from Wallyworld. Good deal?
I think it would make a good truck/beater gun.

Was taking my 19 yr old son to shoot some skeet this weekend and which gun did he want to take, his20 ga 500 pump I bought him when I first introduced him to quail hunting some 7 years ago. Not his Remington 1100 or Italian O/U but his ole Mossberg. When I asked him why, he said "it just feels right".
