Leverevolution Ammo-Does It Feed Ok

Thinking about trying the Leverevolution ammo in
my Marlin 45-70 guide gun but saw on reviews at
one website some people said that they would jam
if a new feed lever was not installed and I would
like to know how this ammo feeds in your Marlins
and has any one ever had this ammo jam while
trying to chamber a round into it.Thanks for any
feedback you can give on this. Mike

We purchased a box of Leverevolution for our Remington Model 760 .35. Absolutely love it. We took 3 shots with our Federal Game King 165 grain and hit dead center. We took 3 shots with the Leverevelution and was hitting a bit higher at the same distance. About 2-3 inches. The leverevelutions are a little hotter than the Game Kings. My honest review is that the leverevolutions is a great shell and is going to do well on the market.

I've had zero issues with my .444 Marlin.

I have an 18year old 336 in 35 rem with no problems feeding rev bullets. The only one I have seen with problems was a much older 45-70 model. So old it did not have the cross bolt safety.

mello

you could always call marlin

I use it in my 30-30 and I love it never had an issue and is shoots 1 1/2 groups at 100 yards.

If you ask me, the phrase, "... it's the greatest thing since sliced bread"will soon be replaced by, "... it's the greatest thing since LeveRevolution ammo." Seriously. I usethem in my Win 94 30-30 and can't find a bad thing to say about them. I honestly can't imagine why anyone would use anything else.

I have put many rounds down range and 9 into game, and I have had absolutely no feed problems with 30-30 or 45-70 LeverEvs. I am getting MOA accuracy consistantly out of my 336SS, but my 336T will only do about 1 1/2" at 100. Some guns seem to like it better than others.

I have an 1895G in 45-70 and have nothing but good to say about the LE ammo. No feed or ejection problems and fantastic 150 yard groups. I believe what you may of heard is the 1895G could have a jamming problem when the shell is ejected. Actually, If you use like Garrett's Ammo with a 540gr. bullet, you may have to replace the ejector with a bear proof ejector so it will handle the extra weight of the shell and expansion. I can honestly say, I have fired every LE ammo on the market and have never had a problem with it.Took 4 deer in the last 2 years with it and this year a buck at 185 yds. with one shot.

Thanks so much to everyone who replied with the
results of how the ammo feed and shot in your
rifles and that sounds real encouraging and should
definitely be worth a try in my Marlin guide gun as
I now shoot Winchester 300 grain Super X hollow
points and just wanted to see how everyone else is
doing with the new Hornady ammo and I believe I
will give it a try very soon as what everyone says
sounds very good. Thanks so much! Mike
