Default Browning X-bolt

Any opinions about the new X-bolt. Also does anyone know if Browning is going to discontinue my beloved A-bolt.

I cant even find the x-bolt on their site.

Found it. Looks like a decent gun, cant wait to see one in person.

One thing I didn't like about the old Abolt was the trigger assembly. The new one gets a different trigger that is simpler and far easier to adjust. Supposedly the mechanics of the trigger are the same as the trigger going on the new Model 70 just different cosmetically.

I dug until I finally got info and details. The X-bolt IS replacing the A-bolt,and it's "supposed" to be an "improved" a-bolt but I can't stand the ultra modern look of the stock. As to the improved trigger system,it sounds good and the scope ring mount uses 4 screws instead of 2 for each base, hence the name,X-bolt.

Almost forgot-there's a button to depress to operate bolt while safety is in on position. All I do with a-bolts is remove pin and rod part of safety so that I may operate bolt at any time with safety is on.
