I was reading the specs on this electric muzzleloader and found some bugs I donot think the enganeer did not think of.
1:9volt battery infact just about any battery licks after a while in storage
2:the electodes will go bad in a few years if not shorter (depends on the area)

3: it could short out thus missfire
4: if you drop it you could mess up the ignition system could get damaged
5: if any thing goes wrong you'll have to send it back to cva for service
I like to know what ya'll think. do you think cva thought about and I listed

It's a piece of s!@#!!! But one thing is for sure... They built it for idiots... And this world is over populated with them... So I'm guessing they will sell a lot of them...

I think it's an innovative gun, and electronic triggers have been around for a long time too, on some very expensive target guns.
Sure there may be some problems or flaws of some kind, who really knows? But unless someone has bought oneorcan report on actualproblems with them, then it's premature to say what problems will develop.
While anything is possible, I don't know what the probabilitiesare of havingfrequent or seriousrepair issues.
If someone doesn't like the idea of an electonic ignition or trigger, thenthey shouldn'tbuy one.
But Iwouldn'tcriticize anyone who doeswant to buy one.
Any money invested into the research and development of black powder gunsthese daysis a plus to the shooting sports as far as I'm concerned. Shooting is shooting and fun is fun,pure and simple.

articap makes some good points.......let the thing be tried out and get some bugs worked out of it. It MAY turn out to be a great idea. Just wonder what some state's regulatory laws may have to say about it, particularly ones like Pennsylvania who require traditional flintlocks only in the post-Christmas muzzeloader season. It could probably be used in the October season for muzzeloaders, which is "shoot what ya got".
