Stevens Model 200

They aren't fancy or pretty, but these guns can be real shooters. For the money, I don't believe you'll be disappointed in the least! In fact, some individual rifles may out shootrifles that cost twice as much.
The Stevens 200 is a fine shooter and an awesome value...buy with confidence.

what gr. bullet does your .243 like?
I have the .223 200 stevens and am soo happy with it, shoot like a dream I will have to post some groups i have shot with it. It shoots better now with the more rounds I put through it. Ithas a 1-9 twist but shoots the 40gr. very well. right now I am shooting 52gr. hpbt match with 5744 and it shoots 1/4"groups.

My brother and I both have one in 223. It's a cheap, plain gun that shoots great. You can cover most of our groups with a dime. For 275 bucks you can't beat it. It may not look as nice as some of our rifles, but it can shoot with all of them.

Easily the best gun for the buck! Ask a Remchester fan how their <$300 guns shoot! The Stevens/Savage guns are owner friendly too! You can do just about anything you want to it by yourself. Buy it then go to savageshooters.com or go there first, read, then buy. Either way, you won't be dissapointed.

The stevens i have, took a small brake in period before it shot this well. But now it seems like most everything shoots pretty well. This three shot group was shot following 2 fouling shots. This is federal once fired brass winchester primers 20.5 gr. of 5744 -52gr. hpbt match from hornady. I will say this is about 1.5 grs over the max I have found in any load manuals. So as always becareful reloading.
