I purchased the package deal from BassPro. I can put 3 rounds dead center at 150yds so I would have to say that its a great gun.

Thanks for clearing up the gps.
For everyone I wasn't knocking the savage,just showing that all of them don't come as one hole shooters out of the box just like other brands.
As rem I like them also I have several and all will shoot some one holers at 100 yds some out of the box some bedded.Bought 2 rem sps recently and both have shot some one holers with out anything but adjusting the trigger.
Have several savages that will shoot also.A savage muzzleloader that will really shoot.

The three shot group with the 270sps is with factory bullets

You can see how much I like savages and remingtons,have rugers,browning and tikkas that do good also.
