RE: info on 2 pistols
I wouldn't swear to it but I think that the 1911 Pit Bull is an FMJ/hard ball only pistol seems like I read about one in AR some years ago the "hard ballers" don't like SWC or large cavity HPs . Can't remember 100%.tons of choices as a 1911 has about as many drop-in after market choises as 74'chevy.
Can't tell you a thing about your Luger . Get them checked out and go try 'em out. |
RE: info on 2 pistols
Ifthe .22 Lugeris a Stoeger, then it was made by Erma in West Germany. Thesewere relatively inexpensive butpopular gunswhicharen'tvery hard to find.Erma also made a rare target version .22 Lugerwith a very long barrel that's muchmore collectible.
Erma also made Baby Lugers under their own namein .380 and .32 thatcommand a more premium price. Erma also produced an authentic looking.22 LR version of the M1 carbine. Ermawent out of businessabout 10 years ago. Stoeger owns the Luger name, andthey later sold a U.S. made9mmstainless Luger witheither a 4 or6 inch barrelwhich have doubled in price. But the standard Luger .22's are still much less expensive than any of the others mentioned, and I doubt if they are tack drivers, but rathermore of a .22 noveltygun. |
