Timney trigger install for Model 70?

Has anyone installed a Timney on a Win Model 70? I recently got a Timney for my Model 70 Classic & am having difficulties...To say the least. I'm having trouble driving out the bolt stop pivot pin. Is it supposed to be tough to get out? Also, once the bolt stop is out, how does the Timney installation screw go in? Are there threads for that under the bolt stop pivot pin spring? Sorry to ask so many questions, its just that I wasn't expecting to have these troubles. I did my Rem700 pretty easily a while back...

Anyone have any help?

I'm just wondering why you bought a timney trigger for a model 70? The model 70 is the easiest trigger on market to adjust.

In my humble opinion it is also one of the best triggers ever made.

I just purchased a Model 70 Classic Super Grade III and love how easy it is to adjust the trigger. I wouldn't bother going with a custom trig especially in a Classic.

Honestly my friend save the frustration and leave the factory trigger in. The model 70 trigger is the easiest to adjust and tune.
