Benelli Nova

Hey everyone,

I'm looking for an all purpose shotgun, for duck and turkey. I was looking at the Benelli Nova. I want to stick to pump action, and I'd like to shoot 3-1/2" shells. Any input? And what is the difference between the Nova and the SuperNova?

I'm not real familiar with benelli, but I think the difference between the two is the stock and the recoil pad is a little better on the supernova, and about a $100.

If you're a benelli guy either of these would be good guns but before you just go out and buy one I would recomend looking at a remington 870 and a Browning bps. Although they cost a little more, they weigh less and they're known to be rock solid. I own one of each and they are!

Go look at all three and just get the one that feels and fits you best.
Good Luck

I have handled a couple, and they feel good to me (but I am not a pump fan). From what I have heard from friends that shoot them, no one has had any problems with them.

If I were looking for a pump gun, it would be the Nova or the 870. I don't believe you can go wrong either way.
