RE: 7mm-08 Ammo?
I shoot a Remington LSS Mountain Rifle in 7-08.
The Winchester Ballistic Silvertips gave me very nice groups at both 100 yards and 200 meters. This is what I'll use this fall for whitetails and antelope.
Hornady Light Mags were second best, but I got an occassional flyer with those.
Federal Premium Nosler Partitions and Accubonds gave mediocre accuracy in my rifle. Same for Federal Fusion, although they are nice and cheap compared to other loads.
All of these are 140gr loads (although I think the Hornady is technically 139gr.)

RE: 7mm-08 Ammo?
I know that alot of people have good luck with the balistic tips. I have had some luck with them but I usually find that standard soft point bullets are more accurate in my gun. I have had great luck with sierra game king and hornady interlock. I shoot the 140 gr. gameking 42.0 of varget make for a very accurate load in my rifle.
