Never knew untill....
 

I didn't really know what everyone ment by "pick it up and see if it feels right". Until this weekend. I happened to pick up a weatherby vanguard sporter for the first time and as soon as I put it up it felt like no other rifle I had ever held. Now I'm loving that rifle. I mean I had no idea a rifle could fit that well. I thought I knew what I wanted but that Vanguard sporter just sat on my shoulder like it was made to be there. Yea. Now I know and am glad I've spent this much time picking up different rifles to find the one that "feels right".

Thats the way I feel about the 700 Remington. They designed it just for me.:D

You have just ended the argument of which rifle is best for you. I like the feel of those also. You learned more in 60secs then a 10 page post on here. Good luck chosing caliber/rounds to shoot out of it.

I've never pick up a gun that didn't feel good ,Some just feel better than others . Good luck with your find

Lol, thats how I fealt about the uhumph, choke[:@] Remington 710. The gun just fit me so well that I had to try it. Well I got two seasons out of it and traded it back in on a Winchester. I am glad to hear that you found a gun that fits you well. It is very hard to shoot with any consistancy or confidence if the gun just doesnt fit right.
