Its just not marketed at hunters. More of the target crowd/tactical crowd (or varmint crowd). No different than sporting clays shotguns with pink stocks (ref: my girlfriend). Just not designed for stealth...because for the folks that buy that sort of thing, its not about stealth, its about standing out.
Yea nothing like rare paintnscheme on a scope thats says "Hey look at me, I overpaidby more then100$ for this Leupold" JK

Gald to hear Hendershots is still open. I used to go thereback in the late 70's. They had a great selection and prices at that time.

i first saw them on leupold's website and i like them myself. i don't see the red sticking out though? animals can't see color so actually it would make them more camoflauge than the regular matte scopes.
