Rifle Basix yay or nay
Was thinking about getting one of these and throwing in my Remington Model 7. Seems like a pretty easy trigger to install. Was wondering what you guys think of these triggers. Are they legit or are they junk? I've never heard much about them before, but finding a trigger to fit a model 7 is proving to be no easy task. Thanks.

Rifle Basix are good triggers. I'm not thrilled about the aluminum housing though.I prefer Jewel's but they're high dollar. Jard makes a parts kit for the factory trigger. I've got two 700's with it. They're both justover 1 lb and crisp. Jard is now making complete 700 triggers. I don't know anything about them yet. Timney's are about as good as Rifle Basix. Shilen makes a really good trigger also.

I put a RB trigger in my Savage 93 17hmr. I bought my rifle before the accutrigger came out in the rimfires. The RB trigger was eay to install (30 min. took my time), and has been flawless. This model is adjustable from 10-26oz and is set right at 12oz right now. Definitely money well spent for me.

I think you would just as well off(if not better),with a GOOD professional trigger job instead of going to all the trouble/expense of buying aaftermarket trigger. I have done several triggers on model 7s with outstanding results using factory parts.
