Where did you hear that little bit about ammo prices going up? I know they've gone up quite a bit over the past year.

I have been hearing that too where I buy most of my guns. I heard the same thing last year, and it happened to come true. Something about steel prices keep going up. Dammed Chinese keep buying it up.

Heck, as long as none of my ammo exceeds $50.00 a box, I have no problem with it.

I just did research, and TUK, it appears the big ammo ordeal, is expected to end by Februrary, with prices DROPPING by 30%.

Apparently, for the second half of 2006, the demand for ammo has been greater than the supply, and along with China and India, stocking up on metal, copper, gunpowder, etc., the prices have increased by an average of $5.00 a box, well, in Feb of '07, the supply will have caught up with the demand, therefore, lowering ammo prices. So, hopefully, this will occur as theorized. it would be nice to buy a box . 300 Win mag ammo for $13.00 again.:D

I own a 45-70govt H&R I truly have enjoyed shooting the rifle killed many different animals very pleased with gun
