RE: ANY 20 ga. Shotgun Review
I have a Rem 1100 Spec field 20 ga. Great gun. Maybe the best shotgun I have had. Also have a Berretta 20 White Wing. Very light, very fast. Great gun. I just have not shot it as much. The more I use it the better I like it. Points a little lower than my Rem 1100.

I have a few 20s laying around, and am looking at pickin up another. 20s are my favorite dove/clay/pheasant gun. I have a buddy that just bought a Franchi Raptor 20 gauge on Monday, so far he is loving it. Today I am going to give that gun a workout on some clays and if I like it, I might just hafta go buy one (I want to get a nice semi auto 20).

I really like my 20ga Browning Citori Feather. Handles quick, real light to carry, can't hardly miss with it. It will put a hurting on you if you shoot more than a couple rounds of clays though...that's just not what it's designed to do. Putting on a limbsaver slip on pad helps, but only so much. One of these days I'd like to find a Rem 1100 in 20ga, but I'm not willing to spend what they want for a new one, and the used ones that I've looked at have either been too close to new price or beat up real bad.

I love my citori sporting clays model. I can shoot it all day and my cheek doesn't hurt as bad after a round or two like it does with my 12. I wish I had gotten a field model with 30" barrels. I don't like the noise my portted barrels make. Not sure it I'm getting that much benefit from it.

I own a H&R Model 58 single shot 20ga and a Remington 870 Youth 20ga. Both are great guns. Both are good in certain situations. I'd give the 870 the edge as you can buy interchangeable barrels and chokes, and it is an awesome design. Both are extremely handy in the brush and carry well also. I like my 870 a lot, as it has a 21'' barrel and a youth stock, which are great for carry in thick brush. I'm 6'2 235-40 lbs and it fits me fine. I would definitelyrecommend both H&R and the Remington Youth 870. I've never had a malfunction with either of them. I've had to shuck the 870 a little harder for old shells, but nothing more. I really like the auto eject feature on the H&R, and is very quick for follow up shots also. Anyways, just my .2 cent.
