I think I got the 25/06 back in the spring and it was $569,+tax and the varmit just got it a couple weeks ago and it was $719 +tax but if I had got the varmit last month it would have been $650 +tax.I was going to wait till next year to get the varmit but found out the prices were climbing so decided to go ahead and get it.
I finally gave up on the 25/06 and sent it back today to see what was wrong with it.Out of about 25 tikkas of my friends this is the only one that wouldn't shoot constantly.Hope they get it fixed I loved shooting it.
One friend bought one of the 308 varmits Has 2 Now,and had it rechambered for 30/06 and it really shoots also.
stubblejumper thanks for the site gastonia is just down the road about 30 minutes for me.

Hello everyone new to forum. Seems like a very intersting place to hang out. Noticed there was mention about trigger adjustments on the tikka's. I need to know how to adjust the weight of trigger pull. I had my rifle cleaned and ever since the trigger is very light. Almost to light. It's a m695 270win., laminate stock and stainless barrel. Just paired it up today with the Nikon buckmaster 3x9x40 with the BDC reticle. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and look forward to hanging out with all you fello hunters.

Well I have a T-3 not a 695 model but on mine all you have to do is remove the barrel and action from the stock and adjust an allen screw on the front of the trigger assembly. Turn one way to increase and the other to lighten. Simple as pie.

Sent the 25/06 tikka back on 9/28 got it back 10/18,think that was pretty fast service.Don't know what they did to it but it works now.Compareing the crown to my 308 and friends tikka's looks like the crown was touched up.Whatever the best thing is that now it shoots consistantly.
Shot it friday and every load I shot in it was one inch or less several were one holers except for one load, that load I had loaded with 2 different primers, with one I got the biggest group about 2 inches with the other I got 1/4 in group. Was at a friends house then that has a 100 yd range in his back yard, let him shoot some groups and he couldn't believe how the rifle had changed since he shot it last time.He has a bunch of tikkas and sako's.
Went back to the public range yesterday where I shoot every week with a buddie that can really shoot. He had kept the rifle a few weeks before I had sent it back and gave up on it.I let him shoot it first and he couldn't believe the rifle had changed that much.He had brought several loads that he had tried before and every one of them shot less than an inch at 100 yds, some were one holer and some were less than 1/2 inch.
When I got it back I started to just leave it in the box and sell it because all they sent back was a copy of a target that they had shot and no explanation what they did.But decided to put the scope back on and give it a try, sure glad I did,now don't know which load I want to shoot in it.
No its not for sale now

I just read every single post on this thread! You guys have me fired up with all these awesome groups your shooting. I just bought a 300wsm T3 Lite Syn SS camo today! I wanted an all black but the only thing they had was they sscamo for the 300. I almost got a 270wsmin black ss...I already have a 270 winand Ijust wanted a30cal for thearsonal. It was only a $120 more than the black on black and being impatient I went ahead and got it. I can't wait to take this to the range tomorrow! The trigger on this thing is unbelievable.
What kind of factory ammo have you guys had luck with? I'm trying Fed 165 nosler solid base to start off with.
I'm also glad they are quick about fixing the gun if something is wrong with it. Thats some serious customer service!
