new tc encore pro hunter?????
 

anyone using it yet. your thoughts? does it really reduce recoil as much as advertised? love the looks and such. a little pricey yet.

I have a regular stainless encore. I just put a sims recoil pad on it like they are doing now. I have a tube with some heavy shot #4 pellets I took out of some shells that didnt shoot well for me and put it inin the hollow stock. That cuts down recoil very well and is cheaper. I have a .375 H&H magnum and it kicks like a .308.My receiver isnt engraved but it serves the same purpose and its cheaper.

My vote is you can get the same performance by working on a regular encore. Installing pillars or hanger system in forarm to match the barrel, install oversized hinge pin, reamed reciever holesto matchbarrel hinge. Make sure the pin is tight enough you should use a punch to get it out. If the barrel is made properly, you get the same gun. And maybe cheaper.
