is sure a heck of a beautiful rifle from what I’ve seen in the pictures but I don’t think I’d be able to use that rifle for hunting...
Not sure I would call it beautiful, it's kind of utilitarian, warmth of wood stock and all weather reliability. Now a friend has a new deluxe in 300 win magand that is nice but not my cup of tea for taking into the woods. Shine off that mirror stock will telegraph for miles

Sounds beautiful to me, now if I could just get my hands on one to confirm my beliefs...

I've got an old L691 Sako in 300 WbyMag that has the Stoeger mark under the barrell. This gun would be the last gun I would sell. It is a dream.

I don't have any experience with the new 75's made by Berretta, but if I was looking for a Sako, I would probably look for a used one, pre-Berretta. Just my preference.

They aren't made by Beretta they are imported by Beretta. Sako's are made in Finland and are FINE weapons.

Beretta doesn't just simply import Sakos. Beretta Holding owns Sako. So, even thoughSako might have some autonomy, maybe even a lot, it would be logical to assume that Beretta hasconsiderably more involvement in the goings on at Sako than a mere importer would.

I heard that they don't really run the show there at all. The Fins don't like them messing with the product

Not sure if the Euro is at fault or not but the price on Sakos has risen since Beretta took off and I see they are pushing Tikkas harder and they have gone up in price as well.
