got my 50 today
 

well i was out shooting some trap and got my first 50 straight. i was at 72 and missed my last 3 so i was close but not quite. i was pretty suprisedi got it today. average wind was 23 and it was gusting over 40! well im the youngest to get 50 straight at this club and was the closet to 75 for anyone under 18 so pretty close. im gonna be shooting again he in the next week or less so lets see if i can do it again. many others on here got there 50 before or 100 even. thats my true goal but its gonna be a while i think for taht one.

Congrats! ! ! That's quite an accomplishment for ANY shooter at any age. Make sure you get your pin and/or badge and wear them with pride. Not to worry, 75 and 100 will come in time. Don't get in a hurry and try not to think about it. Relax and it will come.

Congrats!!! Like said earlier try not to think about it too much. I had trouble hitting 25, 50, and 75. I gave up worrying about 100 and it came much easier. I was 18 when I ran 50, and it took me another year and a half to hit 100. Good luck, and keep us updated.

thanks guys. it was pretty cool to get that last one and turn to see everyone about speechless! lol well i guess ill have to see how my new trap gun works! i just got a mossberg silver reserve. shes really well balanced to me and i guess they changed something that when you shoulder it your already on target so that should help a little. ive been looking for an o/u for a while and decided id start with this one and if i dont like it i can get rid of it but if i do it is still a decent looking gun. i was looking at used rugers and all them and even used they were WAY outa my range. for a pretty cheap gun i like the look and feel of the silver. anyone else got one?
