RE: RECOIL PADS
I have both Sims Limbsaver (Rem R3 is the same thing) and Pachmayer Decelerators on my rifles, both IMO/E are excellent pads.

RE: RECOIL PADS
Pachmayer Decelerator is what i like. Seems to really help.

RE: RECOIL PADS
Limbsaver!

RE: RECOIL PADS
My Limbsaver works great, if you buy a slip-on you can use it on different guns.
|
RE: RECOIL PADS
I use decellerators, but the limbsaver is also a great product.

RE: RECOIL PADS
If you wany one just to use off the bench, Check out the Shooters Friend recoil pad. It works like you can't believe until you try it. I got mine at Cabelas for working up heavy 45-70 loads. Just type in Shooters Friend recoil pad at their site. It will fit almost any rifle. If you try one give us a report on it. I have recommended it to many but have never heard any feed back.

RE: RECOIL PADS
limbsaver....ugly but effective...but hey life is all about a ugly gun that can shoot better than any of your friends!!!
|
RE: RECOIL PADS
I just put a limbsaver on a ruger .300 win mag. It took all of the pain out of the recoil. This is the best pad I've used yet.

RE: RECOIL PADS
Both pachmayer and limbsaver.
|
RE: RECOIL PADS
Most definately Limbsaver. Takes prbably 20-40% of the recoil

RE: RECOIL PADS
Limbsaver.I installed a Pachmayr on my 338, but switched when I discovered the Limbsaver.
