Taurus 4410-whats your thoughts?
 

I was at the local sportinggood store over the weekend,whenI noitice a neat little handgun.

It was the Taurus 4410,wich is a 5 shot revover that can fire .410(2 1/2 in),45 LC or 44-40.
Now my question is would it be a good back-up in bear country,I mean the standatd loadings for 45 LC are pretty poor,Buffalo Bore ammo makes some stout loads but they are only for large frame revolvers,and what kind of range are you going to get out of a 6inch barrle with 2 1/2 inch .410 shells.
Is this just a good snake gun and plinker or could this be a good carry-gun.

I dont know about that gun but I think the best "back up bear gun" is a can of bear mace.

i think it would make an awesome back-up
