This should make Ben smile....
I brought my 10 yr old boy out to the trap range acouple times last weekend. I didn't want to scare (hurt) him with recoil so I had him use a single shot .410.
It was soon apparent that he wouldn't hit many birds with the small amount of shot a typical .410 shell holds and he was somewhat discouraged with hitting flying pigeons. I knew he needed to put more shot out there to be more successful so I hit all the local shops looking for a nice used single shot 20, with no luck. The used ones were all $85 and up, and no warranty of course. So I was at Wal-Mart and found what I thought was a good value. $92.88 + tax for a 20 gauge. I hope he likes it! http://www.hr1871.com/firearms/index.php?cat=3&subcat=1 |
