RE: high point pistols?

the only thing wrong with the hi-points is that they are ugly. i have ran somewhere in the area of a 1000 rounds threw the 9mm without one jam or misfire. and that was with some of the cheapest ammo i could find. there is a life time replacement on parts and service so how could you going wrong for less than $150.00. it will never be a target pistol and it willnever be myfavorite pistol but it always fires. it is a far cry from being a piece of junk. i think you will find that most people that think that they are junk have never owned or havefired one. it would be an ideal under the bed or a back pack pistol.:)

They are really a pretty dependable gun and work pretty darn well. They are ugly though.

All Hi-Point Firearms carry a Lifetime, No-Questions Asked Warranty.
If any Hi-Point Firearm is ever need of service, please call 877-425-4867
Whether you are the original purchaser, or a third-hand owner, your Hi-Point firearm will be repaired free of charge.

I may have to check into their warranty service. My friend had one given to him we never could get to shoot right. The best we could ever get it to do was only fail about once every other round. We've cleaned and inspected and still can't figure out what its problem is.

I think they have a no questions asked policy on their warranty and I think it is tranferrable, IMO they are a pretty good value.

Well I took the plunge and brought the .380. It was only $119 so even if it's no good I won't be out of much. I'll have to see what it can do.

I my self have read a lot of things about the high point hand guns both god and bad and have all so heard a lot of bad. but i have read a lot of good things about them. they will fire 1000's of rounds and not jam up. i think 99% of the bad stuff you hear about them come from stories othes hear not first hand info. every first hand story i have heard have been positive. for 150 for a 45 what do you have to lose? id buy one ugly maybe but with the warrenty and price go for it
