Harrell - Being an old lefty I can remember when the only ones you could get were either a Savage or Weatherby. Now you can get lefties from them plus from Rem, Browning, and if you can find one, Winchester. there may be a few more but can't think of them off the top of my head. I wish the model 7 was available in lefty but Bigbulls is right. If you're looking for a light weight lefty, try the Browning Micro Hunter. The Savage 11FL (short action) and the 111FL (long action) are good shooters too.

I agree. The Savage rifles anyway are pretty light weight even in the standard models. You could get a standard Remington LH and have it rebarreled with a light weight barrel. Of course that would be getting a little spendy. I have a Browning A-bolt light weight composite stalker which is also pretty light. I don't know if that one comes in the LH or not. That one is a 308.
