Nosler Custom Ammo???

Anyone tried any of this stuff yet? Some of it's a little pricey but if it is loaded too the same standards of quality as the rest of their stuff, it should be good foder.I just ordered a box of 150 Accubonds in300Wby for adeerhunt next month in MO. I would rather have ordered 150 TSXs from Conley Precision but I aint gonna buy 5 boxes of ammo (their minimum for Wby cals) without first firing a few rounds to see how they shoot.

Once I get em and try em I'll post my results here,

Yeah its pricey stuff alright..Our Gun Shop won't even
carry the stuff..Onehas to order it in, because hescared his customers
won't buy it at the Cheapest Price he can sell it for..
He may have a point..
But who am I to talk....Before I reloaded the only
Commercial Brands I used were Norma and Weatherby..:D:DThey are just as "Custom" as Nosler..
Now I just use Norma Brass and a quality Bullet when I reload..
Give it a try I'd like to see the results..

I wouldn't call them "really really pricey", the box of Nosler Custom is $58 and box of 150 Parts from Weatherby is the same (most stores sell it for $50). Their prices on regular cartridges didn't look that pricey too me, not much more (if any) than you would pay for Federal Premium Vital Shock or Winchester Supreme or Hornady Custom with equal premium quality bullets. I haven't reloaded in over 10 years, still got all my stuff and who knows I might reload a round or two in the future. Just lost interest in it and most premium bullets are available OTC if you look around now. Certainly reloading is cheaper, but like I said, I would rather spend that time doing other things.

Nosler's sales/service has been awesome, they emailed/confirmed my order and even returned a few other emails about some questions I had. They also emailed me a UPS tracking # and the ammo is slated to be here tomorrow (I believe all ammo/powder/primers are shipped ground vs air).

I hope to get a round or two through it this weekend, I'll post my results!

If I wasnt so dang poor I might have someone else load fer me like nosler. But, the city of boulder dont pay what the private sector does. So, I re-load! I would be interested to see how they act in my rifle. EJ

I got it sittin right here as I type this. LOL I gotta admit it's kinda neat to have a classy lookin box with the name "Nosler Custom" printed on the label while on the back of the label is a ballistics chart and in prominant script, "Custom Loaded for Jim McFarland". No cheap cardboard box either, thisis a fully re-usable plastic two pieced cartridge box/holder.This stuff looks fine too, the bullets and cases are BLINDINGLY shiny and clean. I was also surprised that every round is loadedin brand new Norma brass. These white tipped mojos sittin atop the quarter stick of dynamite lookin cartridges are sharp, looks like a miniature battery of ballistic cruise missles! (I know, I know the deer could CARE LESS!)

lol, one of the fundamentals of American marketing aint just the prize but the way it's presented and wrapped!!! ;)

ps
I was surprised to see they state muzzle velocity to be 3475fps. The ol'
"gray mare" 300Wby can still... GIT R DUN!!!
