mossberg plinkster....

Does anyone have any information about the mossberg plinkster or the marlin 795 because I'm wanting to buy a semi auto 22lr and I'm going to be putting a scope on it but I just wanna know if anyone has heard about any problems with these guns and if not which one is a better choice.(will be used for gopher and rabbit hunting but mostly gopher):D

Rugger 10-22 has to be the all time plinkster . There are so many resonably priced accesories available for it , that it tops the list for auto 22's . Mine with a butler creek stock and barrel , and an aftermarket triger shoots 1/2 groups at 50 yards , with winchester high velocity ammo , it likes them just as well as target ammo .

I would hold off and get a different one if I were you. RIght now, mossberg is having issues with theyre bolt large rifles. Get a remington, winchester or marlin. EJ

I would get a Ruger 10/22. They have a carbine 18 1/2" barrel and a new rifle with a 20" barrel. There is a ton of after market accessories for them also.
