Trade it off for a bolt gun, you'll have better luck.
So getting any bolt is a guarntee for accuracy???? How does this help the poster? I am just curious.

Well first off I would like to know the "shooting issues" this feller has. Stringing?, wide groups? Is he letting it cool between shots? Ammo? But telling someone to get a bolt doesn't make sense.

A 7600 can be a good gun. I have shot them that were 1.5MOA shooters.

He probably just meant that bolts are often times more accurate than most other types of actions. I'm sure he didn't mean any harm.

He also didn't say what load he's shooting. Probably just hasn't found what the gun likes yet.

My 7600 carbine in 30-06 shoots 1 1/2" groups at 50 yards with a Williamspeep sight. Never jams and is short and light to carry without a scope. Great little gun to hunt the thick woods of Maine and New Hampshire. If I am on a rest at the range I can keep it in the inner circle at 100yds. Most of my shots are at less than 70 yds so it makes a real nice brush gun. Only problem with the setup is that it comes from the factory with a raised comb suitable for scope mounting. If you want to use it with open sights you need to modify or change out the stock.

Having shooting issues with my deer rifle....its a Remington 7600 pump action 30-06.....just wondering if anyone owns this gun or has ever had any patterning problems with one on the range? :(
My very first centerfire rifle was a 760 in .270.....these are good shooting guns and quite reliable. Triggers needed some help however and it's not easy to fix. Many of these guns shoot as good as bolts.
