Thompson Center Encore.

I originally bought the 50 caliber black powder rifle and love it. However, over the past couple years I've checked the auction sights for spare barrels. Found a near new 7 mag barrel for a hundred and bought it. Shoots great! Just after Turkey season, I found a Turkey barrel for around a hundred and bought it too. Now I have a total of three barrels for this gun and all shoot extremely well. There are bargains out there on barrels and forearms if you are patient and watch the auctions. Ebay and Gunbroker are the best.

Just thought I'd throw this out there. Next I'm going to start searching for a rifled shotgun barrel.:)

Thanks, that's good to know. I too bought a T/C 209 50Cal a few years ago and have been thinking about getting some rifle barrels for it. I've got a Rem 700 Mtn LSS in 7mm-08 and been thinking about getting barrels at both ends of the spectrum. Maybe a 22-250 for varments and then a big bore of some sort. 35 Whelen or 338 Wen Mag or 45-70 something.

I'll start watching Ebay & Gunbroker

The 22-250 barrel is pretty good I have one for mine. I load up Hornaday 40g Vmax in it and it love them. Also does good with the 50g version as well. Have not had much luck with the Match King bullets in 53g yet.

My .308 barrel isn't bad and getting better all the time.
