Hunting boot choice

Can anyone tell me what boot to use in Colorado for elk hunting in Sept. I am looking at danner elk hunter 400 grm or the pronghorn 400 grm. I hear the sole is very important out there. The elk hunter has more agressive pattern however the pronghorn is agressive as well but not sure if enough. The pronghorn is more compfortable and lighter also. Thank you
