Welcome to the club. This website is terribly slow. I would have left a long time ago if there was another comparable website. The funny thing is, it is actually better than what it used to be...if you can believe that.

try biggamehunt.net... great forum and alot faster although this site has more local boys than BGH.net.

I don't normally post in the hunting forums...I like the politics....and the biggamehunt.net site has no political forums.

Maybe, if they gave that little rat that's running on the wheel a little speed, the response time would pick up. They certainly have enough adverts so WTF ????
I like the site, but it's cheap scumbags that's ruining it by not updating equipment.

cheap scumbags
They may not have a choice. If like most websites it is being hosted by a 3rd party ISP the solution would be to move to a different provider if the current ISP cannot provide better service.

Ok...then I take it back... STUPID scumbags. THey need to shop their site out before it sinks to the bottom. THey're making money on adverts and if the advertisers realize that people will leave, they'll not only have a slow crappy site, but it will be without revenue. That would motivate 'em but by then it'd be too late.
They need to get on the stick and get competitive.

I don't think it's the servers. I think what slows the site down is the program, run by google I believe, that sorts through all the posts looking for clues for ads.

I would think that they do this for all the systems they run programs on....but THIS ONE is the one that we're on and it sucks if you don't want to grow old just waiting for a response. This is 2011 and they respond like they're on an old AOL dialup line. UGH !

Not so sure the fault is with Google. If that were the case other websites would have the same issue. This one is by far the worst of all the sites I frequent.
