I was looking at another forum and they had a gun deer contest.

And here is the scoreing system they are useing.

Not saying we should change Just something to think about.

What do you think of this its simple to do.

5 points for a deer. Buck or Doe.
1 point for every point on a rack of 1 inch or more added to the 5 points.

Participant score will consist of 1 deer. If you are allowed to shoot more than 1 deer you may upgrade your score by submitting the new deer, this will cancel out your previous deer.

all deer harvested will still have to be verified with a picture of you your weapon and the deer that was harvested.

Thank You !!!!!

JR, It is being discussed but I seriously doubt that the rules as they stand will waver that much as far as scoring. For one, it is a good to be able to have the knowledge to green score a buck....not to mention a thrill once you know how.... Especially if the buck is yours! ;)

:)I am looking forward to scoring it the "old" way folks. It will be nice to learn how, as Christine said!:)

Just think, once we get educated, and can score our own, we can brag quicker!!

Thanks JR! And good luck!!

Let's git r done!!!:D
