Lets check in here, team 6. We need a captain, and what you guys expectations are this year. I'm personally after a 125" deer at least with my rifle this year.

Tazimna checking in. Our bow season opens this Saturday here in Minnesota, so hopefully I can put something on the score board in near future. Expectations......always more than reality.Taz

Turkey fan: reporting as orderd sir!!! Ohio opening season for bow is october 2nd, and shot gun is november 29th.......................hehehehe a little earlier than past years.............rut should still be going.........we are going to slay em!:D

little indian here. I am hoping for a 150+ or better. I have my sights set on a 180+ class 17 pt. that I have been watching. Good luck to all.

Hey fellow hunters, looks like a few of us are checking in. Josh says we need a captain and I spose team name? I'm not online as much as I'd like, so I'll withdraw my name from captain so as not to miss anything important regarding contest if you folks are OK with that. Name wise, open to most anything if we need one. Maybe share alittle about yourself and years hunting/experience to acquaint ourselves before we put a whooping on the other teams. :) Myself, real name is Steve from northern Minnesota. In my 40's and currently a truant officer for our school district. Have hunted/fished,etc for most of my life. Spent from 1986 - 1999 guiding for several hunting/fishing lodges in Alaska. I still guide flyfishermen for pike/muskie here in summers, and also have a few clients that I take bear and deer hunting during bowseason. My hunting philosophy has switched from being strictly a trophy hunter, to now just enjoying the sport and filling the freezer. We're allowed 5 deer this year in my area, so I'm sure I can add a nice score to our tally if need be. Best of luck to us. Steve

Hi all My name is Mike (everyone together................HI MIKE!):D I live in cincinnati ohio, i have to travel in the county a little to hunt. I am 25yrs old, spent 5yrs Marines and 2yrs Army and working for the U.S.government, currently i work for a college in ohio. I began hunting when i was like 10yrs old, i have taken two real trophy deer from ohio. I have been hunting the same area since and just now realized where the trophy deer are, and the property i hunt has 130plus size deer on it, like its nothing, there are some really big trophy deer there and i plan to harvest one of them! I live 8months outta the year just to spend the other 4 hunting! As far as a team name...........ummmmmmmmmm ill work on it!

Josh Keller here.. As if you didnt know ;) 20 years old, college student, and been hunting over 10 years. I'll be hunting every day this season, and 2 weeks in late december in south texas :D

Is there a team called DEER SLAYERS YET? How about TAG EM AND BAG EM? RUN & GUN? TEAM YOUNG BUCKS? PIG STICKERS?TEAM BROW-TINES? TEAM TARSAL GLAND? LICKING BRANCH? WHACK EM AND PACK EM? Ill think of more, i can get creative..................it just takes awhiile!:eek:[X(]:D

Whats everyones weapon of choice??? I will be using either a win model 88 with weaver 4x, a 98 mauser in 8x57 with weaver scope or a 50 cal knight disc rifle.

sorry i was late...been dove hunting alot lately here in Illinois. I will be hunting with my 870 or my T/C Black Diamond XR 50 cal muzzleloader. I am 29 and have been hunting since 1986 in Illinois. Good luck to all

Sooo, is "Browtines" official then.? Had 2 clients get bears last night. One bow, one rifle. Largest weighed 245# field dressed. Bow season opens here in the AM tommorrow. Plan on being in stand early and again in PM. Good luck to anyone else going out. Taz

Like I said I have no problem being captain, but I have no idea how to make the pic, but I think my wife will know how, ill see if i can get het to help, Turkey as far as enlaging your pic you need to resize and resave it using a photo editor program. Team Brow-Tine works for me, does anyone have a good motto for us????? Also as far as a sig pic, if you guys have a good pic to use email it to me and I will see what i can do(my wife;)) if anything.

Alright troops..........operation "kick ass" is on its way! Carp, you are team captain, hopefully your wife can hook us up on the pic. As for our motto, ill work on that. How about THIS BUCKS FOR YOU, TAG EM AND DRAG EM, ONE SHOT ONE KILL, BONE COLLECTORS------>That would have been a good team name too!:D I kinda like TEAM BROW-TINE, The Bone Collectors! Let me know, ill think of some more.

got 2 does in the freezer so far. Got to draw on a 12 pt opening day, but head/neck and rump were clear, but vitals behind a tree. Eventually turned and walked away. Time will come though. Taz

opening day sucked, didnt get to hunt my spot due to the wind and the heat! Seen one doe that bedded down under me, and got me stuck in the rain! Couldnt get a shot at her, she would stand up. I cant wati till this friday going at it again..how about our team mottos? Any body like em?

nope not till the 29th!!. I went out on friday and didnt even see a deer! Well i take that back, i almost T-BONED one on the way to where i hunt with my truck!! It was a very,very,very,very...........and i mean very close call!! I felt her @ss rub the side of my door!! I like whatever motto yall pick, i like this bucks for you too.
