It seems he's proven his point with this thread then because I would not have guessed that buck to be Pope & Young minimum.
Here's another 130 class buck for comparison.

Look Jerry, I already told you my earlier post was meant to keep things accurate, to help those less experienced scorers.
Seems like this really touched a nerve with you......................[:-]

I forgot to mention, the buck on the left was killed with archery tackle during Pa's rifle season. The buck on the right was also killed with archery tackle during Iowa's shotgun season in 2002.

SW Iowa Hunter, theres a good chance i may be wrong but we were lead to believe (by a sporting goods clerk in Osceola near where we were hunting) that its legal to use a bow in place of a firearm during any season- as long as the rules of that season are followed (wearing orange etc.) If i'm wrong i apologize.

Looks can be decieving. I believe it's called Ground Shrinkage! I got in on this post late but I guessed 136 gross G1's 3,4", G2's 7,7", G3's 7,7", G4 5", MB's 24,24, mass 4.5,4,3.5 3, & 18" spread = 136.
Why would anyone cheat to win nothing? Those that complain, put up or shut up. GO HUNTING. I am not trying to anger anyone, but let those that are successful enjoy their moment. Put yourself in their shoes.
