i see alot of people season opened last weekend and not one entry?:eek: somebodys got to get lucky[&:] at this rate the winning team will have one entry and it will be a spike horn, and that spike horn will come from new york;)

Season is open but I want nothing to do with those nasty tick infested creatures. Bring on the cold weather.

I really hope it cools down alot before my season opens up on the first, otherwise i dont really plan on huntin hard til it cools down some. It does seem odd that no one has poked anything with horns yet.

I got me a pronghon antelope doe on Friday afternoon. I know it does not count for the contest. Sure felt get to get the first one under the belt for the year.:D

I'm somewhat surprised in all 230 contestants that we don't have a single entry yet....perhaps that means guys are passing young bucks which is good or simply not telling us about their first one and can take a second one....hhhmmmm

Some seasons have been open for weeks, I guess it's the odds against bowhunters....I'm suspecting we'll have at least one entry in the next couple weeks as other season are begining to open....ours in PA is Oct 2nd and I'm counting them down...perhaps this weekend will provide us with an entry from someone, somewhere. BOWFANATIC If your post was a response to my antelope doe? Relax I killed her with my bow.:D My Antelope gun season does not open until October-10th.

My opener was Saturday(Maine) and I had seen 3 bucks and passes to small 6's befor 8:00. If I wanted to shoot dinks it would be me;). My second openeing day(New Hampshire) is today so I'll do my best to arrow one. All I need is 120" of bone within 35 yards and we'll be in bussiness. So who will it be? Me of course:D

Has anyone heard from Rack? Usually when he disappears for a few days he post back with a monster. He may just be up to something:)

Nah , it was a response to oneidaeagle. It's only been a couple weeks at most with most hunters waiting for cool weather before hitting their stands.

At least you got to sharpen your skills on a antelope.
