Well, the weekend was certainly eventful. Went out five times counting Friday and saw deer 4 out of the 5. Passed on a 7 ptr and 6 ptr. Both were 10 yards and in. The 6 ptr was actually a huge bodied deer...just not what I'm looking for yet. The 7 ptr was within 8 feet from my stand yesterday morning...he's got a drop tine coming down from the right antler...pretty neat to see. This think might be something in a couple of years. Going out (hopefully) Wed PM and Fri PM, along w/ the weekend.
On Opening Morning (Fri), I was surrounded by deer before daylight hit...and before I could raise my bow...just sat there and watched them. Of course by the time I was able to see to shoot, they were gone.

I am going out in the morning and afternoon tomorrow, I hope to score on at least a big doe. I graduated from taxidermy school last week and want to get some demos done. I also want to dig in to those tasty backstraps! Good luck all!
