Hey fellas?? Where are you guys? Did ANYBODY get to go this weekend? I was on pain killers and couldn't really be in a treestand or have a weapon in my hand, but how about you guys? Browning, did you get out? Any luck?

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO...I got my doe tonight. I know have a buck tag! I'm looking forward to the weekend, it's suppose to be cool and we've noticed a lot of activity, including a lot of rubs on my dad's property. It was a nice quartering away shot, and she only went about 35 yards from arrow impact. She'll be a great eater, she tipped the scale at a hefty 141 pounds, AND she was a dry one. She was all alone, and had no little ones in tow. I've had about six pictures of her on my trail cam behind the house here out on the oak knob. Cutting her up tomorrow night after work, she'll be DELICIOUS! :D

you guys are lucky!! I still have to wait till the 16th to climb into stand. The mast crop was heavy around my hunting area this year, and I know theres alot of good bucks in there, so I'm so pumped I can hardly stand it!!
