Hey Doublelung55 and other Kansas hunters in the contest....

What if you just realized your muzzleloader season opens before your archery opener? We can't use archery gear in the early MZ season starting Sept. 11. Archery doesn't open until Oct. 1. This is a problem since I don't want to let the team down if I tag out before archery season. I hunt my own land so I can use any weapon. What to do?

I'd say hunt with a bow soonershooter.

I don't muzzleload hunt, so that is not a problem for me. Don't know many at all that do actually.

Prioritize. I will do my best for the team that I am on, but I will not sport foolishly.

If you choose to "tag out" than more Points for our team!!!!! lol...

It's completely 100% up to you. It's whichever method you enjoy the most is what I would go with.

Yeah the choice is easy. Bow only for the team and only muzzle load during rifle season since my land is tight. Rifle season isn't until December so I won't be hunting that long I hope and should be tagged out on a bow buck by then. Darn, wood knocking isn't possible on the internet!!
