Shot this doe on Friday. (I had to... she was about to bust me.. it was self defense.. I swear!) ;)

I thought I'd be tough and load her into the truck by myself. I tried for a half hour straight. My tailgate is almost chest high on me..... no matter how I tried, I could not do it. (I think it must have been really funny to watch.. I got nosed in the head.. hoofed.. covered with deer goo...) :D

...and now Justin.. I'm one up on you. I got another one this evening.

Okay so it's a dink, but I first saw him when he was a half-mile away and he ended up standing broadside at 15 yards in a shooting lane.

It was more than I could resist.

Apologies to my team mates for shooting a small deer.. but I'm happy with him.

And her buck puts you guys on top, temporarily though cause team 8 has another buck to add making their 5th for the season and should go above you guys by a minimal amount of inches...

If worse comes to worse, I'll shoot a 6 pointer to put us in the lead. You gotta do what you gotta do when the late season comes. :D
