How would you measure the antlers on your deer? What do you do?

get a tape measure , or a string , wrap it where the P&Y score sheet says to measure , then put down what you get.... i think there is a link floating around somewhere, maybe on the rules thing

zak i do know boone @ crocket has a page on there site that will let you tally in the measurements and the score will be set for you.
It will give you complete instructions on how to do this,hope this helps:)

I'm not sure how your team will do it. I know team 5 will need a yard stick to measure theirs. ;)

Zak - its easy!

After you shoot your buck - pull the ears back and grab the two skinny spikes comming from the top of the head. Just measure these from the base to the tip. Then add the distance between the tip

Example:

left spike 4"
right spike 5"
Spread - 3.5"

Thats 12.5" P&Y

o so thats how your going to measure your deer Rack-attack? i feel bad for your team;) haha j/k. me and zack are going to need yard sticks to measure our deer! go team 6!

to make it easy for ya zak........you need to measure 3 diameters of the main beam, the g-1 to g-whatever, inside spread, outside spread, kickers and things like that will be a deduction.

We are doing gross score though, well thats whats going around so i dont tink there will be any deductions.
