RE: Offical "Team Buck Busters" (1) Thread !!!!!
Hey Gjpwisconsin,
Where in Wisc. are you? I am going to be real busy with the filming & WHACKING during the season. Would like to help you out, but I have to take care of the film crew 1st. We hunt about 70 % public and 30 % private. The big bucks i have found are not cuase of a great area, but becuase of 1000's of hours of scouting. Let me know where your at, if I know of any good spots in that area, I will be glad to point you in the right direction.

I am up in Ellsworth. I hunt the Tiffany Wildlife Area in Buffalo County though. It is about 45 minutes away from me. I've got a couple of other places nearby home for weekdays, but any place you could suggest would be awesome. You can never have too many hunting areas.. Thanks!!!!!

Hey GjpWisc.
When I heard you were near me, I thought you meant in S.E. Wisc. I do have an increadable lease in Buffalo along with use of my buddies two private farms. But most of my hunting is in S.E. Wisconsin. I have heard alot of good things about Buffalo's private propertys, But never had the need to scout them. One guy approached my stand at the Minnasota deer classic and bragged of several huge Buffalo co. bucks he had taken, he got out pictures of some real slob's, and surprised me by telling me he got them on public land. He said there is a real good property on the missisipi that he boats to, and said there are several real small public propertys you need a plot book to know about, that have private managed lands surrounding them. You might want to look into that. I tryed to find my plot book for buffalo but can't seem to locate it. Something else you might find interesting, I think opening week in that area is better than rut, and that is especially true on the public lands. If I locate my book, I will look for some public land in some good areas for you.
