Here's a picture guys. I posted the story in the Bowhunting Forum and I also posted this picture and another picture at a different angle. I don't think he'll score too high missing his right side but what a terrific brow G1 tine.....I'll score him tomorrow and add him to the official score thread.

Rob

Congrats on a great buck!! What is the chance of finding the broken side?? do you know where his main bedding area and feeding area is ?? Will you look for it?? Sorry but it is the shed hunter in me and I couldn't resist looking for a broken side of a buck if I shot it. If a fairly recent break, it should be in the immediate area or at least fairly close. More then likely in his feeding area. Would love to see the tine length on the broken side since the G1 is so long. Congrats again!!

It appears to have been broken in early velvet as the pedicle looks like it was twisted. The main beam is broke behind the brow point. Highly unlikely that I'll find it but your right, I'd love to have seen the right side....

Left side.
18 3/8 main beam
7 1/8 G1
7 7/8 G2
5 1/8 G3

4 3/8 H1
3 3/8 H2
3 3/8 H3
2 7/8 H4

Total 52 2/8

Right side?
3 2/8 Main beam
10 1/8 G1

4 1/8 H1
2 7/8 H2
I did not measure for H3 and H4...didn't make sense but could have added 5" to score at this point.

Total 20 1/8

Inside Spread....I was strict on this, I went from the left main beam a imaginary line inside the G1 on the right which was equal to the main beam coming out the back.....7 4/8

added together= 79 7/8

Had he had his right side and assuming it equaled his left he would have been a 120 inch deer with a minimal 16 inch spread. I think he would have went a little better cause his left G1 was longer and had his right side finished stronger than his left.

Either way, that's his score......any questions?

Congrats again.

Such character.

What are your plans with displaying the rack? As in what style of display. Just curious.

He's atrophy for sure! Even if his rack was busted on one side, man, that thing is huge! He looks bigger than you do!
