I do have a pic, I haven't had time to load it to the computer, but will hopefully here pretty soon. And I have a big smile. My girlfriend made me smile, and was acting goofy until I did.

dmax... do you know how much your 5 point scores? I can post it for ya if you want, this way we'll have 2 bucks, and up in the mid 100's

I have one week to go and my brother inlaw got us permission to hunt some new property. He checked it out on Friday and kicked up 2 NICE bucks and 6 doe bedded down. We're headed out tomorrow morning. Maybe I'll hook up with a nice one for the team.

Yeah, Dmax got his picture up and we are no longer skunked. I haven't heard from BC lately. I wonder if he is still in Illinois. I didn't see a deer today but the wind was shifty. We're headed back out on Friday.

Well my season has been over for a few weeks now and I have been too busy to get back on the net, but I hunted my butt off and never saw a horn from my stands. My 13 year old son got a doe early and a three pointer from one of my stands so I have meat but this is the first in many years that I didn't make a kill. My neighbor on the next 40 shot an 8 that made the papers, looked to be about a 115-125 class from the photos, real wide, but unfortunately he never made it to my side of the property. Hopfully next year I get some more food plots planted and can draw them away from the big corn piles. I still have deer pawing through the snow and ice to get to my clover so at least they are getting some good food in this cold weather.

We'll see ya around. Even if I didn't get that buck it was a great season. Just being out and hunting with seeing the deer, made it all worth.
