RE: Official Dark Timber Predators (7) thread
Shot my doe on Friday evening. She went about 60 yards and tipped over. Plan on taking the next week or so off, let things cool down and get ready for the pre rut, now that I have my buck tag....

Great job St. Croix. Good luck on baggin that buck now. Our season here in Oklahoma starts on Friday the 1st, but due to my work schedule I won't be able to hunt till Sunday. Has everyone else already started?

First off, DO NOT buy the bino/digital cam combo on ebay. I got the bushnells. Everything is fuzzy on the pics. Kind of like the shutter is to slow. Anyway-- I'm out looking for deer last night. As I pass a field that I have a tree stand in I see about 10 deer feeding. As I watch them feed I look at my stand and there he is. You can see the stand above him. He's a 19 or 20 inch wide 8 point. I've seen him before. I bet he would score 130-135. Why couldn't the season start yesterday.
I tried to take a pic with my new toy, you cant even tell the points on him.l

Well the bar has been set guys. My Dad spotted a big one this morning. His estimate is an 8 with a 17" spread, 8" tines, 4" brows and decent mass. So if I shoot one, it'll be at least this big
