'Morning, guys....

"The Bruisers" sounds cool to me too. Great to see a bunch of fellow southpaws out there too! [8D]

Edit: for the record - I'm not a true southpaw. I'm weird.... I'm one of those righty this, lefty that, righty this, kind of guys...

Shooting: lefty
Golf: righty
Guitar: righty
Drums: lefty (i.e. tom-toms on this side, cymbals on that side...)
Football: righty
Baseball: ...really weird: Bats - righty, throws - lefty
Soccer: left foot kicker

What can I say.... I'm all mixed up! ;)

Butch same here.I shot my guns and bows lefty because my dominant eye is my left.I also when was younger could hit a baseball lefty or righty, power from the right but more consistant contact and higher batting average from the left. Also In used to box and was a true southpaw strange[&:] ,Bill D>

RE: team 6!

I'm a little late here folks...I'll be thinning out the herd in the southern part of Illinois near Carlyle Lake. 2 deer at our big buck contest had scores over 200 last year, before deductions.(I didn't take either one.....sorry:(:(:(:() I'm using a Mathews LX, don't hold that against me. She took down 6 deer last year and is shooting great in 3D so I think I will have to put some brown down for team 6.

P.S. .................Do buttonbucks count?;)

I shoot and write and do everything right handed. I can't wait till Oct. 2 for the first day of bow season. I'll be out there using my Alpine Impact Extreme with my Trophy Ridge Matrix 5-pin. By the way I think the "Brusiers" sounds like a good name.

Does anyone want to be a team leader? Rob/PA Bowyer suggested that all teams pick a captain. so i guess we have to vote on that to. if no one wants to do it i will be the captain.

I agree, we should pick a captain (....NOT ME!)[&:]

The captain should be the most experienced, have the most #of years hunting, most # of kills, etc....etc....

Myself - age 43: 3yrs hunting, but have been shooting since I was 12. Retired Coast Guard... Qualified on M-16 and on the old 1911 .45ACP. Relatively new to bowhunting and to hunting altogether, but I have a great time learning more and more each time I am out!
