If my thinking is correct... you should score the broken side also. Since it is the main beam, it shouldn't matter if it is less then an inch due to the break as it does when measuring a tine or sticker point that is less then an inch. Tine or stricker point less then an inch can't be used in the score. Measure the length and circumference of the broken main beam and add to score. Should give you at least 3 more inches to your score.
I know an official scorer on another forum and will double check with him to make sure I am right. If the broken side can be score, you should also be able to measure an inside spread from it and add that to the score.

I did get a hold of an offical scorer. He says you can measure the main beam length, the circumference of it and measure for an inside spread to the widest point. Congrats on your buck.

Hows it goin guys. Not to much posting goin on I see. Just wanted to let you guys know that I cracked a doe last tuesday. It was pretty cool. Im goin to have a deer rug made to put in my room. So both of my tags are filled now. Good Luck to you guys and happy hunting.
